Swimming Level 1

Why is it so important to start swimming early?

The earlier your child learns to swim, the more confidence they gain in the water. It is also good exercise for your baby as the water supports their joints and allows them to gain strength in their muscles.

Teaching Plan

Our lessons are structured to ensure your baby learns the basic stroke principles and gains confidence to swim on their own. By incorporating songs and swimming exercises your child has fun learning to swim.

How is this achieved?

We achieve this by using arm bands and eventually goggles to encourage the child to swim properly. With the armbands the child eventually learns to float on their front and back without any other support. This gives the child great confidence to swim by themselves.

The Results

Through this programme and method we are aiming to teach your child to swim a basic front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke with armbands.
